Clipo Media was brought on board to create an engaging instructional video that helps campers understand essential campfire safety rules, reducing the risk of starting a bushfire.

SES Victoria wanted to use video to inspire the Victorian community to consider becoming an SES volunteer. To give these promotional videos an authentic edge we used unscripted interviews with several existing SES volunteers as our starting point. From there were devised an agile production schedule where we filmed a mixture of staged and real life scenes to visually support the underpinning messages.

The EYOP program sees youth workers and police officers work together to deliver joint after-hours outreach to young people under the age of 24 years of age.

As part of a strategic marketing campaign, the department wanted to increase awareness of Local Jobs First and encourage local business to express interest in contracting to major government projects across the state - growing local jobs. The department required a suite of promotional videos to highlight the benefits of Local Jobs First through the insights of real examples across regional and metro projects. Using a mixture of voice over and interviews with business owners, we were able to provide a snappy engaging video that helped to quickly deliver the ‘big picture’ overview as well as some of the direct impacts for local businesses. The videos were used on the new landing page for Local Jobs Victoria, at presentations and on social media. Creative Victoria commissioned Clipo to create a series of videos to showcase the impact of a hip-hop arts project called 'Be YOU'. This project is a multidisciplinary initiative that explores themes of belonging, identity and diversity through the creation of original songs, recordings, videos and live performances. The project is supported by Creative Victoria's Creative Learning Partnerships program and involves a collaboration between students from Sunshine Heights Primary School, 'Inkrewsive' - a Melbourne-based hip-hop crew comprising artists with disabilities, and Wild at Heart Community Arts. Ahead of excavation works for the Metro Tunnel, archaeologists and heritage experts use excavators, shovels and hand trowels to sift through layers of rock and soil to uncover archaeological remains and artefacts dating back 180 years and earlier. These investigations will provided a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to unearth a whole landscape of early Melbourne. This video was made to share some of the stories discovered during the dig.

The Victorian Department of Education required a promotional video that inspired international secondary students to choose Victoria as the best place to live and study abroad. With COVID restrictions in place, Clipo used footage from past projects we have filmed for DET to produce an edit that will excite and motivate students from all over the globe.

The name ‘biik wurrdha’ means ‘land of many’ and is the name given to Jacksons Creek by the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung. Our suite of professional learning for new and existing vocational and applied learning teachers supports the introduction of the VCE Vocational Major and Victorian Pathways Certificate.

For 10 years clipo has been creating profile films for nominees and winners of the Victorian Global Learning Awards. This video pieced together some of the footage we shot over the 10 years and was screened at the 2022 awards ceremony paying tribute to the 10 year anniversary.
