Melbourne Museum | Blak Day, Sun Rises, Blood Runs
Blak Day, Sun Rises, Blood Runs is a 14minute film that is part of the permanent collection at Melbourne Museum’s First Peoples exhibition in the Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre. The film looks at the history of massacre and violence on Australia’s frontier. A range of storytellers share their history and memories around sites of violence across Victoria. This particular video is a shorter highlight piece used to promote the exhibition. We took a sensitive, fluid and cinematic approach to produce the film. Working alongside Indigenous curator, and Filmmaker Genevieve Grieves and Cinematographer David Franjic. There were many early mornings in the middle of winter filming with frosty feet! Locations that have very limited access, and incredible stories and insights into our shared history. This was an incredibly rewarding project for Clipo to have been involved with. www.clipo.media From the seed of an idea to final delivery, clipo offers a complete end-to-end video production service that creates content you're proud to share.

Hume City Council | The Pink Elephant
The Broadmeadows Town Hall, or Pink Elephant as it was fondly known, is an important repository of community memory. Its recent renovation called for new artworks for an inaugural exhibition in its brand-new exhibition space. Singing Bowl Media was commissioned to create a media artwork to pay tribute to the hall's vast history and the memories it holds for the community. The result was a creative three screen exhibition documentary, that pays tribute to a place and its people.

Monash University | Sunrise Rushes
Highlights from the Sunrise Rushes Exhibition films. As part of the 2022 Project Sunrise, Sunrise Rushes was a large-scale participative project conceived by Jessica Wilson and created in collaboration with Clipo for Monash University. As a response to the frustration of COVID lockdowns, the project gave students across three Monash University campuses a chance to be filmed in ultra slow-motion video (300fps) as they took a risk by dancing, running and falling.

Knox City Council | Framed by Gender | Hotham Street Ladies
Knox City Council required several videos that could capture the process and outcomes of an installation artwork created by the Hotham Street Ladies. The videos were used to help promote the project through social media during its development, as well as stand-alone exhibition pieces used to inform a wider audience once the project was finished. Coordinated by Knox City Council supported by VicHealth and in partnership with many community organisations and local groups, Framed by Gender included art installations and a program of innovative workshops that used art as a medium to engage in conversations around gender equality with the Knox community. www.clipo.media From the seed of an idea to final delivery, clipo offers a complete end-to-end video production service that creates content you're proud to share.

Artist Marcia Ferguson | LOT 57
LOT 57 is an impressionistic film shot on Lot 57 Cameron Street Coburg, an abandoned car park opposite the Brunswick Yarra Tram Depot. The film explores the passage of time and memory. Lot#57 was shot at night against the backdrop of moving trains. The train symbolises the shifting passage of time into which memories disappear and re-assert themselves. The work sits between filmed photographs and the way we dream. The film soundtrack is made from time-altered train sounds. Lot#57 is based on recollections gathered from interviews with strangers along the Upfield Line. Twenty-nine performers aged 11-89 years appear across twenty-three scenes. The film runs 5:42mins. Concept, direction: Marcia Ferguson Co-director, Editor: Tamsin Sharp Director of Photography: David Franjic Sound: Jethro Woodward Camera assistant: Michael Gordon Hill Dramaturgy, site and volunteer coordination: Evan Watts Community performers and interviewees Partner: Clipo Thanks: Coburg Library www.clipo.media From the seed of an idea to final delivery, clipo offers a complete end-to-end video production service that creates content you're proud to share.
